From Static Brochure to Enrollment Engine
In 2023, the School of the Madeleine’s website functioned like many independent school sites. It was informational, orderly, and well-meaning, but passive.
Navigation was menu driven. Announcements filled the homepage. Admissions details existed but weren’t emphasized. Tour dates were listed, yet not visually prioritized. The site explained the school. But it didn’t actively invite families in.
Calls to action like “Schedule a Tour” felt secondary. Social proof was buried. The emotional depth of the school’s faith, community, and academic formation wasn’t immediately visible.
For a school built on mission and belonging, the website wasn’t fully reflecting its strength. Nor was it converting interest into action.
The Problem
Recognizing the power of emotion
In a competitive enrollment environment, passive websites quietly lose families.
When calls to action are subtle, momentum stalls. When storytelling is muted, connection weakens. When navigation requires effort, prospective parents hesitate.
Families make emotional decisions first, then logical ones. If warmth, clarity, and confidence aren’t felt immediately, they move on.
The school needed more than updated design.
It needed a digital experience aligned with its mission and built to guide families forward.

The Solution
A strategic enrollment tool
The new homepage opens with a bold mission-driven headline centered on faith, academics, and community. “Schedule a Tour” and “Apply Now” are prominently featured in both the hero and navigation. Testimonials appear earlier, reinforcing trust alongside conversion actions.
Navigation now groups Admissions, Academics, Campus Life, and Contact clearly, reducing friction for parents making decisions. Expanded visuals and storytelling help families envision their child’s full journey.
The result is a website that feels aligned, intentional, and action oriented. One that drives stronger engagement, more confident applicants, and renewed enrollment momentum.
