How We Helped The Creator Of The Nation’s #1 Large Group Physical Activity Resource Overhaul EVERYTHING And Have Their Best Year Yet
Skillastics is the creator of the nation’s leading physical resources for Afterschool and Physical Education programs. Their resources and programs help make it easy for After School Directors, PE Teachers, and Coaches to motivate and engage large groups of kids to move and learn and love it.
When they first came to Built by Love™, they were experiencing a couple challenges.
The Problem
Diminishing revenue and a lackluster website
First, their old website and messaging had become stale.
Their old website was hard-to-navigate with harsh design. Due to their range of offerings and messaging was often unclear or muddied.
Second, their marketing efforts were disconnected and ineffective.
While they had a regular blog and webinars, their valuable assets weren’t connected to any lead generating campaign. They lacked a solid sales pipeline and had no cohesive strategy to nurture prospects and customers.

Skillastics' fun and engaging product deserved a fitting website. We helped them refresh their branding with a complete overhaul of their website — new messaging, new design, new lead magnet and new videos!
The Marketing RAMP™
We created a complete marketing strategy using our proprietary process, the RAMP (Responsive Automated Master Plan).
The customized RAMP creation included:
- Creating avatars & voice of the brand
- Mapping the customer journeys
- Building the RAMP in Infusionsoft/Keap
- Creating Points of Delight (including 10 videos)
Video Package:
As part of the video package, our videography team met with the Skillastics Team in Orange County, CA to create a collection of 10+ evergreen videos to use on their website, on landing pages, in emails, and more.
The Result

When COVID struck, Skillastics had to shift gears completely, and were forced to take their programs online. They moved to virtually programming and reached out to us to create an effective marketing campaign suited for this shift.
We quickly created this campaign (along with some valuable additions), so they could continue serving their client base through the crisis without missing a beat.
With a trio of fresh, professionally designed websites, each company experienced a significant uptick in leads and conversions. Even more importantly, they saw a surge in interest from potential franchisees, setting the stage for future expansion and growth.
